FJB Coaching Shop Privacy Policy

Who we are. This policy covers how we handle your personal information when you shop with us. We are Fabian Byrne, trading as FJB Coaching, First Floor, Swan Buildings, 20 Swan Street, Manchester M4 5JW. You can reach us at fabianbyrne@obsidiancircle.co.uk. We follow the UK Data Protection Act 2018 and the UK GDPR.

What we collect. When you place an order or contact us, we may collect your name, email, phone number, delivery and billing address, order details, and basic information about how you use our shop. Payment card details are handled directly by our payment provider and are not stored by us.

How we use it. We use your information to process and deliver your orders, handle returns and customer service, keep you updated about your order, meet our legal and tax obligations, and, where you have agreed, send you news and offers.

Our lawful bases. We rely on performing our contract with you to fulfil your order, your consent for marketing, our legitimate interests in running and improving the shop, and legal obligation where the law requires us to keep records.

Who we share it with. We only share what is needed to run the shop. This includes our payment provider to take payment, our shipping and courier partners to deliver your order, and the platform that hosts our shop. Some providers may be based outside the UK, in which case appropriate safeguards recognised under UK data protection law apply. We never sell your data.

Marketing. We only send marketing where you have opted in, or on a soft opt-in basis as an existing customer. You can opt out at any time using the unsubscribe link or by emailing us. Messages about your actual order are not marketing and will still be sent.

Cookies. Our shop uses cookies to help it work, remember your basket, and understand how visitors use the site. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

How long we keep it. We keep your information only for as long as necessary to fulfil your order, provide support, and meet our legal obligations, including tax records kept for the period required by law.

Your rights. Under the UK GDPR you have the right to access your data, correct it, ask us to delete it in certain circumstances, restrict or object to how we use it, request a copy in a portable format, and withdraw consent at any time. To use any of these, email fabianbyrne@obsidiancircle.co.uk.

Security. We use appropriate measures to keep your information safe and handle it confidentially.

Complaints. If you have a concern about how we handle your data, please contact us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes. We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be posted here.
